On the official Steam store listing for the game, the developer describes Road To Vostok as a hardcore single-player survival game in a post-apocalyptic border region between Finland and Russia: you survive, loot, plan, and prepare to reach Vostok, where mistakes can end a run (including permadeath rules for that zone as described there).
